Piano lessons for all

My daughter has been attending piano lessons with Sarah for alomost four years. She has grown very fond of Sarah and feels very comfortable and at ease in her home, Sarah is very friendly, kind, patient and clear and has a really lovely way about her. Communication with myself is brilliant, always keeping in touch with where she is at and also giving advice on equipment and resources. She is also very knowledgeable, flexbile and efficient. My daughter has been able to complete a few exams through the ABRSM since having her lessons, both face to face and more recently, virtually, which has been a great focus for her. Sarah has been a tremendous help and has given up her own time to watch her performance videos and give advice and feedback. We have seem her progress so much over the last four years and we are looking forward to many more years of learning and playing to come. I feel very lucky to have found Sarah and would not hesitate in recommending her to anyone. I only wish I could start lessons myself!

I am flexible in my teaching methods, enusring that all pupils can find a way to enjoy using the piano to make music. I have pupils with a variety of academic abilities, some of whom have additional educational needs. Each pupil is different and I tailor my approach accordingly.
Many of my pupils enjoy the success of passing exams (performance, practical and jazz exams are all options that my pupils take) and performing in local festivals, while others prefer to play the piano for their own enjoyment. For pupils who do wish to progress to the higher exam grades, I incorprate theory into lessons.
